FIRST VISIT

At your first visit to our office, information is gathered that will aid Dr. Galati in assessing the need for orthodontic treatment. This information includes a medical/dental history, digital photographs of your face and teeth, a clinical examination and a consultation. At this visit, we can determine if treatment is indicated. If treatment is indicated, Dr. Galati will give a general idea regarding the type of treatment needed and will recommend diagnostic records. If treatment is recommended, the treatment plan will be discussed as well as treatment length and financial arrangements. The initial exam visit is always free in our office.

RECORDS APPOINTMENT

Orthodontic records are generally made at the second visit to determine the best course of treatment. They typically include digital radiographs (panoramic radiograph and lateral Ceph) and 3-D digital models of your teeth. Our office record is completely digital. This information is used to design a custom treatment plan to obtain the best possible orthodontic result. We have our digital radiographic equipment in our office so there is no need to go to a separate x-ray lab.
